Be a part of PEI's 9th Annual Music Awards Gala
The Music PEI Music Awards Show is an annual celebration of Island Music from East to West, with up to 22 Industry awards given to those who have made their mark on the Island in 2008-2009.
Our Gala celebrates the diversity of music on Prince Edward Island and features up to a dozen or more Island performers in genres including everything from Alternative, Country, Jazz, Blues, R&B, Rock n' Roll, Pop, and more. Each year new rising stars are discovered and established artists shine. It is truly a diverse range of musical styles and great performances. Performers for the Gala Show are selected by the Awards Show Committee from the list of nominees.
This year's Gala show will be held Saturday, January 23rd, 2010 at the Confederation Centre of the Arts in Charlottetown and will once again celebrate musical excellence and achievements during the past year featuring Island artists. Music Week PEI will also include a Songwriters Show, showcases and workshops. Further announcements will be made with schedule details.
