Rodd Hotels & Resorts Investing in Western PEI's Tourism Industry

For Immediate Release - July 28, 2005

Charlottetown , PE – Rodd Hotels & Resorts is pleased to announce extensive renovation to Rodd Mill River – A Rodd Signature Resort.

The $500,000 planned upgrade to the resort is well underway. The public areas such as dining room, lobby, and hallways have been complete and approximately 30% of the guest rooms refurbished.

“Comments from guests have been very positive. This investment into the property is happening due to the confidence in tourism market in western Prince Edward Island and this project will assist in the growth momentum of the area.” says Louise Arsenault , General Manager

The remaining project is a new Spa and work is expected to be complete in the next couple of weeks. Rodd Spa Boutique at Mill River will feature three treatment rooms and will employ a team of exceptional spa professionals including a spa director, massage therapists and aestheticians. Spa services are delivered using the Aveda product line and include aromatic massage, body wraps and polishes, facials, hand & foot care, make-up applications, waxing and much more.

This is the third Rodd Spa Boutique to open on Prince Edward Island which are now featured at the three Rodd Signature Resorts – Rodd Brudenell, Rodd Crowbush, and Rodd Mill River.
